Hey :) Where do train from? I looked up Team X-T1 but on the site it doesn't even say where you are located!
Hi Sarah, I am based in the UK - Hertfordshire/North London.
Hey we are just updating the website guys, thanks for responding, we are based in Essex about to open a new Center 5000sq feet, cant wait, how long you been doing 10th planet.
2 and a half years :)
Thats great have you graded in the 10th Planet and if so how did you go about it?
Yeah I got my blue belt in July 2009 from Eddie. I felt my level was good enough to be a blue belt, so I travelled to LA for a month and trained with him. At the end of the month, he gave me my blue belt :)
Thats brilliant, bet it was an amazing experience for you, so are you teaching 10th Planet where you are.
Yeah, I teach but for free and privates only! :)
Not thought about running a class?
hi Sarah, i'm also from the uk based in Birmingham
I'd love to run a class, but not 'til Purple :)
Hi, I'm from London. I've had a couple of privates and will be doing regular group classes soon. I'm looking to put into practice some of the stuff I've seen on the MTS series: Mongolian Bowties, Dogfish, Ham toasties... ya know, that kinda thing. -:)
also from London(south). id love to find a bjj school close by if anyone knows of some. nogi would be perfect. i dont realy get the chance to practice my rubber guard much in mma :(
Where you gonna run your classes, would be great if we could get a whole load of us close to each other to get together and practice the 10th Planet stuff
Hi Karim must be plenty in London No
Hi Mick what you training up there
I'll be doing classes in Liverpool I'm afraid. I can't stand any other city in this country, London especially!
haha thanks JC, appreciate it. but your right, im not a fan of London really. although it would be nice to have some way to train 10th Planet down south, i doubt i'd ever be able to travel that far north for training.
Lol cant say i disagree with you guys at all and I live here well Essex anyway, not sure if thats worse or not lol
im from redhill in surrey
Hi Peter
@Sarah just checked out your website, nice location right by the sea. Would be great if you could organise a tournament - the BRighton Open is a great weekend, competing and then hanging out on the beach and bars etc.
hello from Wales.
Hello Wales, Enzo we have a Judo Tournament on the 27th run by one of our Coaches to be based in the new Gym, over 800 competitors, HUGE, may look at this for the new year, great idea, would also be nice to get people over from overseas maybe throw in a seminar or 2 from Eddie if he would come over, Gi or NoGi????????
NoGi seminars only, Eddie wouldn't do a Gi one ;)
To be honest not interested in Gi myself nor any of the others training i meant for the tournament but would look at doing a NoGi one anyway
