So i was looking on the internet about my competitors and I noticed there's this guy that uses rubber guard as well, but better than myself... u guys got any tips for me?
I have an idea what to do, but maybe there's some simple things that can help, like not do into his guard, all skinny guys r used of being on their backs, so it's obvious, not to get into the other guys guards. Anything would be great.

If you have been following the MTS stuff you probably have a good idea of the different RG paths even if you cannot execute them with Mastery. If you get caught up in your opponents RG you will be able to know where your opponent wants to take you and what they are looking for to finish you. Don't give your opponent any easy finishes and wait for an opportunity to regain a dominant position if their transitions are not tight, this at least my White Belt Survival strategy against better RG players :) Bonne Chance! and please post some videos no matter what happens :)
Lol, I will, I'm nervous as hell! I found more vids of him and he's not that good at rubber guard, his submission was from the normal guard. I just need to make sure I don't get into his game and play mine. I don't want to say what I'm going to do just in case he looks at this forum but we ll see. And thx for answering, I was wondering if I was going to get a response.

I dunno. I'm 6'3 and 190 and I always try to get my top game going. I never TRY to be on bottom. Yeah, this guy's opponent didn't do...anything. Didn't even posture once he put him in guard or immediately try to get his knee up or pass at all. Just play your game. Do your thing and learn from the experience. Good luck.

And here is his match against my teamate/one of my coachs. I saw this match about 2 hours before mine with Chris. And Before my match he went up agianst the other competitor in our division and that guy beat chris. I was like...fuck how the hell am i going to beat these guys!!
