What are some of the best ways to escape or counter the Truck?
Truck Stop
just tossing it out there, you can learn to flip it.
hard to describe, was briefly shown in one episode of MTS not long ago.
Matt Dempsey, one of my instructors is the absolute best at flipping trucks :)
def flipping the truck and the truck stop
I like Dempsey's, but the truck escape I learned from Geo's seminar is so mind blowingly simple that it's my favorite.
Edit: You all should go to his seminar
One of our Purple Belts, Matt Skaff, is insanely hard to keep in the truck.
Is underhooking with your own arm on their leg closest to you a known escape?
On zogs app of the the episodes of week in the roc is about flipping the truck think he calls it the suzuki its on youtube mate
Sweet guys.... I couldn't find anything about truck escapes on the tech list...I'll check out Zog's page to check it out

Just kidding. I would say use the search function, but surprisingly nothing comes up. Might be a good thing. I think the Truck Stop Escape is in a old thread by Ryan Fortin. I dont want to say exactly which one in case you're an agent. Have to make you work for it.
Probably time to make a misleading disinfo agent truck and twister escape propaganda video that is easy to find
Truck Stop is my 1st option, picked it up at Geo's Seminar, I belive there is a video on MTS or YouTube
If i'm already stuck in the truck, I work on breaking the legs open while making sure I protect against the twister and calf crank. Once I get some space in the legs I can start scooting my butt away and get free. You will end up on bottom, and sometimes mounted, but I feel less danger there than in the truck.
Could it be this one or is there a newer one?

I hope I'm not overstepping my boundaries here, I just want to point out the importance of getting onto your ass and scooting back as quickly as possible when doing the truck stop. There's a window of opportunity for the opponent to grab a seat belt grip and take your back. Also, it looks like once you're in that position, you have an option to hit your own twister roll/rolling back take if you want. Am I seeing it right?
That's spot on David, I always shoot for truck stop > twister roll
Thanks Mikael. Thanks freaks too can't wait for those boys to invade UK and truck the world.
I like to establish the kimura grip to protect myself from the attacks... then I'll use the free leg to kick out. It works most of the time... except the last time I rolled with Compella (who managed to hit 2 twisters on me back to back) :)
Does anybody know exactly what recent episode of MTS Eddie showed flipping the truck? The one with Nathan Orchard showing it when a blue belt didn't quite know how, and Eddie needled Nathan a bit because he didn't enter flawlessly? I hope someone knows what I'm talking about, haha. I can't seem to find it.
I believe thats #74
