wow these guy are made out of rubber
that is INSANE!! It's doesn't even seem real
now thats jiu jitsu!
I saw this a while ago, cool shit.
Incredible!Thanks for the great post!
WOW.....he's like a stretch arm strong doll. You can stretch him you can bend him but you just won't break him.
Does anyone know where the rest of the fight can be viewed? I'd love to see the whole thing. I tried searching for the fight results, but I couldn't find them. Who won that damn fight?
them knees and ankles were probably hurting later
when i first saw the video, i was thinkin to myself "oh sh*& that guy better tap quick or his knee is gonna get broken or shattered, OMG his leg is being bent in a sick way, its about to bre... NO WAY!! holy ^&%$ are you serious?
this is seriously one of the best jiu-jitsu matches i've ever seen.
IMO that was a pretty sloppy match. Loose positions, loose sub attempts. These guys were a little too anxious. They had some decent transitions here and there. The kneebar was one of the worst kneebars I've ever seen. There's a reason why it didn't snap his knee, because it was done wrong.

Look at this kneebar compared to the fighters kneebar. Night and day.
wow, christea actually crossed his legs low on the body while he had nakamuras back and nakamura continued attacking the low percentage straight armbar instead of the easy ankle lock. that's some beginner stuff right there. Entertaining match? Yes. Technical masterpiece? Far from it.
I actually train with Christea daily and that guy is a freaking psycho. He never taps. I catch him with the electric chair and i feel like hed rather die than tap. The only thing I can do is practice positioning with him.

check it out, this guy tokoro rolls nakamura into the truck at 3.37, but sadly gets armbarred. there is just to many levels to his armbar
Fights like that just make nervous. I appreciate that Christea is super flexible, and I guess knows his own threshold better than anyone, but it's such a fine line between escaping the tap and getting something badly broken. Obviously it's him that's in there putting in the line, so I'm not criticising - the guy's got courage for sure!
good shit
I remember this match! Just crazy! You get some good fights in M1. If I remember correctly Nakamura won by decision didn't he?
To anybody that says the ground game is boring needs to watch this.
