Looking to roll in Orlando, Fl?

About Once a year I put the call out. So here we go again. If you're near Orlando and you want to get a basic idea of the magic that is 10 Planet I would love to meet up. I'm not a seasoned killer like you'll find if you're lucky enough to be near an official Moon but I've at least trained in the system with some of their best so I won't be giving you YouTube bullshit and passing myself off as legit. I know a little and just want to find people who share a passion for this system. Would love Florida to open up and get its 10P on!

Very cool! I lived in Titusville for a couple years so I know the area. If you guys are open on the weekend would love to visit sometime.

Kevin's a classy guy with great jiu jitsu know how and 10P experience. He trains at Gracie Barra, but I've forgiven him ;)

Nice! Every so often we get together and do some drilling at a buddies house in Weston on Saturdays. I can see if he wants to and you can teach us some stuff

We have open mats Saturdays at 9 a.m. But we could also do one anytime on the weekends. You guys are welcome anytime.

Ross you should go to the Nino seminar. Nino is the guy that gave us the Gogoplata. His high guard was very close to the London and Rubber guard before there was a high guard system.

How much nogi is at your school Kevin?

It's a Gracie Barra school so not much lol. We have one NOGI class a week and one MMA class then it's all gi classes. I have really bad arthritis so grip fighting for me is painful, so I train like NOGI most every class with the added threat and burden of my partners using grips. I started dropping in at
The Bomb Squad every time I was on vacation at the same time I started training at Gracie Barra Orlando so I feel I have the best of both worlds. I'm a big half guard player and 80% of what I play is lockdown 10Planet. I played a lot of deep half as a blue and purple belt but now I'm back to mostly lockdown.

Cool, it's looking fairly likely I'll be in the Orlando area sooner rather than later. I was getting depressed at how little nogi there is. I've gotten spoiled I guess

Yup. Between us, Alliance and Top Team you have great instructors but heavy on either IBJJ or MMA. When you get here let me know and come by for a visit and get your roll on.
