S Mount Dead Orchard
Beautiful.
I hate you long legged dead orchard havin mutha fuckas :-)
Been playing with this for a while. A slower breakdown would be great to fill in what little movements help you keep everything tight and secure. How you block the JJ escape. Etc
I think its easier from S Mount than it is from NY :)
I more so wanted to show the move before I really had a breakdown for it. I started going for it after Keenan/Vinny so I havent been honing it for very long but I do hit it about once a training session. That is a great suggestion though Stan. I'll try getting a breakdown here soon to answer any questions about setting up the proper S Mount in order to get high enough to hit the Dead Orchard and what to do if you are unable to lock in the Dead Orchard IE if someone is bigger or you have nub legs.
Good stuff Brent!
Great stuff!! Thanks!!!
Awesome, I love it. Thanks Brent
Nice!!! +1 for a breakdown.
Congrats on the Medford moon btw Brent!
Very nice :)
In theory, I agree. Before I took a second BJJ hiatus, s mount to mounted armbar or mounted triangle was one of my higher % moves. I'm guessing combining the two should be much simpler than catching it from NY since everything is so tight just from having your weight crushing down on their limbs.
Exactly. That plus the angle you have with the S Mount makes it much easier to lock that triangle bite. In NY or Crackhead control I'm having to make quite a few adjustments to lock the triangle bite. At least that is what I've found. I'm sure others have a differing opinion.
Quality Video Brent
We were drilling S Mount to Monoplata last week so fits in nicely
Look forward to the breakdown video
