Nice
Thx for posting! Very cool setup. Keenan has awesome inside heel hooks!
I love it. I've seen variations of this before but thought they were unrealistic and lacked control points. I don't see any weaknesses in this except maybe a heal hook when you bring that top leg through to tip him over.
Dude thank you for this… this is exactly the type of game I have been playing lately. 1/4 and leg locks.
Love the little details. No escape hehe
Eric Ramey taught this at HQ like 4 months ago or so. It is a dope set up.
No good for me. I call it a black belt move. Maybe purple and above. But I would get passed. At best, I'd end up in donkey guard and end up lost. Definitely better for guys who have well developed guard retention skills.
Nice detail
Iīve studied a lot of tape on eddie cummings and he does a really nice entrance to the honey hole from bottom butterfly guard. He did it on enrico cocco at ebi. Really nice stuff, itīs something you need to watch twice to get. But itīs actually not that "hard" to do.
Quater Final at Ebi, at minute mark 7.23

Thanks Royce :)
excelent post
I wish I could find it on youtube but Keenan basically plays this position as a guard. It's pretty cool. There's a roll he has with Rafa Mendes training for the last ADCC where Keenan just plays this "guard" the whole time trying to invert through to the back or to honeyhole or to kneebars. He gets darce choked by Rafa a couple times but he also has some success with it. If anyone likes the transition in this video look for Keenan Rafa ADCC on youtube and see if you can find anything.
Yeah Mike, I remember that roll with Rafa, I see that as Keenan's No Gi version of his reverse de la worm guard
