I'm so happy Soto beat Miyao. I'm sure the Miyao brothers work super hard and I definitely respect their technical mastery of THEIR style. But, I honestly think submission grappling as a sport is a lot better off if their style is not seen as the dominant one in our sport.

What a great show. I really think Eddie needs to be the commentator for this event I think people would enjoy hearing Eddie and the knowledge he has. Also there really needs to be a riding time clock like in college wrestling Miyao and soto was way too close to not have a visual for the audience. Miyao style is fine everyone was trying to run away from it because he's all over YouTube. You will see that next time when Eddie Cummings attacks legs people will be running out of those leg locks. There should be a type of uniform of some sort because I think it was an unfair advantage of how oily Joe Soto was. Awesome event matamoros is going out of business this is hands down the best no go event.
This was an awesome event all around. Definitely, bringing the heat to the other grappling shows!
The competitor tournaments may have some slick presentation qualities, but at the end of the day, people are going to watch the tournament with the most exciting matches. I think almost everybody is ready to accept that the EBI ruleset is unquestionably that.
Great card, awesome superfights, Compella and Scotty Ross had an awesome call, too. Can't wait for #5.
So what was the story on Joel Tudor's no-show? Good on Randall for stepping up last minute.
