Match from the Goodfight Brown/Black belt division

Hey guys, I competed in the Goodfight submission only tournament yesterday. I lost my first match at about the 9 minute mark by straight ankle lock. I left my foot out there and he capitalized on it. This is my match for third place against a very good checkmat black belt from Brazil. He cleaned out his division in the gi and got second in gi absolute. As always, I want to thank all my team mates and of course Brandon Mccaghren for all the love and support.

In three weeks, I will be competing in New Jersey at the finishers subonly tournament run by Zach and JM. Its a 16 man pro bracket with killer purple, brown and black belts from all over the east coast. Can't wait to represent tenth planet in this tournament.

Beautiful entry! That's a pretty accomplished Black Belt that you took out.

I thought it was awesome that 2 10th Planet Decatur Purple Belts beat Black and Brown belts to shut them out of the podium. You and Michael Bartlett wrecked shop.

Thanks everyone, the kind words mean a lot. I meant to give Sean Applegate a shout out for really helping me out in the leg lock department. With his help my leg locks have leveled up tremendously and I am starting to get those panic taps. Anyone who is interested in the leg game really needs to get with him, he is a genius.
