Promoted to Purple Belt by Boogeyman!

I still can't believe that last night, I was promoted to purple belt by Richie "Boogeyman" Martinez. I cannot say enough about him and Geo and all of my training partners at 10th Planet San Diego. Ruptured my ACL and MCL and tore meniscus a year ago at a tournament at HQ and have been back training hard even when the doc said that at over 40, he didn't know if I'd be able to train jiu jitsu again. Boogey always was checking on me during recovery. Amazing family that we have down here and I'm very blessed. Such an incredibly humbling experience every day.
