In these troubled times on Planet earth...I am thankful for deciding to start training BJJ, beginning in January of 2010. I am extremely thankful for my wrestling base. Even though it had been roughly 16 years from the last time I was on a wrestling mat to the first time I stepped barefoot onto the mats at Relson Gracie, what I learned as a youth and in highshool helped me progress at a faster rate in BJJ. I am thankful for finding this forum and you, for expanding my knowledge on the mats and around the universe. I aslo am extremely thankful for the OG Kush I am about to smoke. I hope to someday soon make a trek to HQ and learn from the horses mouth. In the meantime, since I can't make it out for the Pam Ams, I guess I am going to have to settle for a seminar with Scotty, and I hope to shake your hand some day soon.

I personally lean more towards the "change of ages" ideal, Ive read and heard alot of speculation that anarchy is gonna errupt day of but, I think its just gonna be like the marker for when shit slowly started to happen

I read an article yesterday on CNN.com about an 85-year-old woman who was a child in Nagasaki. She was two and a half miles from the blast. She's 85 and has some thyroid problems but is otherwise healthy. She worries that every ache or pain is cancer but she's lived to be 85 years old. I'd be really happy to live to be 85. She lived 2.5 miles from a nuclear blast. I think the folks in SoCal are gonna be just fine.
