Weird... some journalists should stick to writing.
"A superman punch that was not so super" LOL ...that was tough to watch, but he didnt even know what a rear naked choke was when cyborg choked him out in that interview right?
please, someone, tell me he's jewish and not a proud anti-semite. "hebrew hammer"
HAHAHAHA that was a hilarious right hand
actually there were actually a bunch of those
good for him for getting in the cage
Are a lot of Amateur fights like this?
looks like ed soares mma debut :-)

The Hebrew Hammer was a HOrRIBLE movie, trying to be on par with Pootytang, ect.
That fight on the other hand was awsome! It was soo bad i watched the whole thing Just to see if something happened. It looked like Lock from Lost gained some pounds and entered Jelly Weight now that the show is over.
TY for posting this, it goes great with My St. Pattys Day beers!
LOL this was hilarious. Where was the no hands pass in round 1? He had gas in that round, he could have won via GNP.
That was embarrassing. This is a 28 year old young man, who writes mma articles, hangouts with fighters, trains with them. They pit him against a 43 year old guy, who is not like Dan Henderson, Randy Couture style 43 year old. Just a regular man off the street basically. I mean from the the guys ground skills and his jab, I can conclude that he did not even train 1 day in his life, no matter what he says. Anyways, Tru almost loses the match and fells on his face throwing punches... Grab your man boobs and go back to writing man, you are not doing anybody any favors here.
what match where you guys watching?
that shit was amazing
That superman punch was so technically beautiful.
I gotta give props to the 40+ year old guy with no apparent training other than being able to take shots *pain tolerance is a nice attribute to have by the way* and step into the cage with a dude in his 20's. The commentators were fun to listen to as well. Were they high?
i enjoy amateur fighting it is hysterical.
If you guys dont mind a quick poll, how many folks talking about how bad they looked have had a MMA fight? Not that you are wrong, but I am curious as to the general level of experience. Ref was pretty bad too, standing a fight up from side control, I guess he didnt want to be left out of the hijinks.
Also if you think these guys look way worse than most amatuers, you dont get out to enough amatuer fights IMO. They did look pretty bad, but alot of amatuer fights are pretty sloppy, and one needs to take it in the context of the difference between training and competition (there is a big one).
It almost felt wrong watching this. Looked like a father-son scuffle. I like how Honish was just stalking Tru like he was getting ready to spank him instead of fight him.
Announcer says about Tru "He swung for the fences... and hit it!" Haha
this was full of win!!! I frankly liked the fight. You get a lot of fighters who take criticism from journalists seriously and always challenge them to get in the cage or critique them for not being fighters. There are a couple of journalists that said screw it! Yeah I'll go in and give it a shot. The fact is not everyone can do what fighters do...but everyone can critique...so it is what it is.
Good for tru to get in there...even if it was with his dad...and yes it did look like his dad chasing him around to beat him. It had man family picnic fight elements.
