Ive nvr seen cruz fight or ever even seen an interview. How does he talk shit? I know urijah was the only person to ever beat him. But how? Decision, stoppage?
Cruz is a pretty wirey dude, bob and weave, in and out kinda guy...high energy, as most of the lighterweights are. Him and Urijah have been having a fued, which he started with disrespecting Faber and its just escalated for years now. Urijah choked him out in like 98 seconds...and Cruz has been talking smack ever since. Faber moved to the 145's, now hes back to 135 and hes coming to take what should be his...

I LOVE cruz's style... so elusive, like a mini anderson silva but more active... I'm very surprised you're all picking faber in this fight, I think it's probably a 50/50 shot for either guy. Evenly matched, both high energy fighters, both unlimited cardio, should be a very entertaining bout. I can't wait! (I'm biased in favor of the 135ers cause that'd be my weight class if I were to compete)
Yeah but how many fights has Cruz finished..and most Fabers fights have been at 145 so he was finishing guys that were a weight class above his natural weight class.

I don't have a problem with a fighter who doesn't finish fights as long as he is active and not stalling. Cruz is striking his opponent and using amazing movement to avoid damage all 5 minutes of every round, he never slows down, never stalls, never holds someone against the cage. As a fan I actually feel like I'm getting more out of a fighter who can go all 3 or 5 rounds with style rather than getting the KO in round 1 where I only get to enjoy it for less than 5 minutes.
