Damn, she could choke me out anytime. I'm impressed
-

-
That choke in the finals was awesome!
-

Did she just choke her out with a scissor headlock?

you can see the wrestling in her game, she also has a great ability to take instruction. glad we are on the same team :D amazing work congrats
-
Awesome stuff. Way to kill it.
-
Scissor headlock sweep to suffocation via thigh smotheration. Sweet! I think that warrants an invitation to the secret Dark Planet training camp...(http://www.darkplanetcatchwrestling.com/eddie.html)

Hit that leg scissor from a hand-stand sonya blade style, then start breaking necks.
-
Awesome. I see your getting some serious mat swag. that will become very intimidating for opponents.
-
10th planet does the body good. Your a hell of an athlete. Super fast. Looked really good.
-
Gabby must have hundreds of medals & trophies , your skills are awesome what a inspiration
-
That was bad ass!
Looked like you could have maybe hit a TePee choke in that last video and finish her a little faster but I couldn't see the far side to tell.
+2 points for the Bas Rutten palm strike to the mat at the end!
-
Hmm Gabby's awesome and all but I wanna see Video of the man thats cultivating this combat monster. no video of Mr.Bella rolling or smashing comps ?
-
HAHA...I havn't competed in about 3 years (since i tore my acl). Id love to get back in there one day man. I train on the regular at all different gyms...gabby keeps sayin shes gonna take some vids some day when im not looking...lol. Its just that its not about me any more...im 34 now...i love the sport...but I do it to mostly not be too fat and so I can teach others :)
-
Very nice work! Just trust your shots. You're fast! Just shoot deep and pass to the side!
Congrats on the gold. Well earned!
For 16 years old your spacial awareness is very mature. You've either danced or have a good amount of mat time. Maybe both. Keep that evolving and work the angles...THEN SHOOT DEEP and dominate! Option #1...stand and bang, Option #2...take'em down. , Option #3 Pull Guard.

how did she end of versing a boy?
-
-
Congratulations Gabby....Really impressive :)
-
Lol great job Gabby. That poor guy had no clue what to do. Prob the first time hes been with a woman : )
It would have been funy if she whispered something to him and just completely threw him off his game
"taste the rainbow" lol

congrats gabby! can't wait to roll with you and vince when you guys come back to sju!
and not to try to take away from anything, but how the hell was that boy in advanced? he was lying flat on his stomach with a triangle locked on him.

His mom said he had only been doing it for a little more than a year. It was his first tournament. He looked super nervous before hand so I think nerves were an issue...he looked really spastic. Any way...she can only fight who they put in front of her I guess. The match wasn't really long enough to tell if he was an advanced grappler or not. Here are the results off of Grapplers Quest website if theres any questions:
Teens No-Gi 16 -17 Years Advanced Lightweight (119.9 lbs and under)
1st Place: Darryn Kupratis (Pellegrino MMA)
2nd Place: Gabby Bella (10th Planet)
3rd Place: Steven Fabiano (Jungle Gym)
Women's No-Gi Advanced Class A (119.9 lbs and under)
1st Place: Gabby Bella (10th Planet)
2nd Place: Kristel Roxas (Grapplers Guide)
3rd Place: Jennifer Frono (Jungle Gym)

Damn. Impressive as always, but that was particularly amazing. Congratulations. I'm sure this has been asked on here before, but Gabby, do you plan to try your hand at pro MMA in the future? I only ask because I don't know how anyone would deal with you in a cage in 5 years.
