If it was a little more low key with the logo I'd think it would be more palatable. Kind of screams "I'm a grappler...look at me."
A small GQ with the logo guy. Something for Autism on there would be a lot cooler and people would be more impressed by the support of a good cause rather then "showing off."
In the end it's just something else you have to take off before you roll so it doesn't get ripped off. I'd rather just send the $10.00 to Autism radio and say I heard about them through GQ. i say lame. For every day wear, advertising your rank in martial arts to every one is a pretty lame thing to be doing. Maby wearing it at a comp wouldn't be so bad.
Its both kinda Lame and kinda Cool at the same time. Its Pricey though, if more went to the cause I would pick one up.

It could lead to jiu jitsu conversations with others who train that would normally not happen since you normally don't ask everybody you meet (at least i don't) if they jitz. I agree with the cool and lame at the same time. Great for conversation starters and a mini accessory but as soon as people take it as you are trying to show off your rank, it starts to get lame. Also agree on the good cause thing. If the proceedings were going to Japan or young kids athletics programs or something I would wear one instead of the livestrong armstrong bands.
