On the last UFC Royce special -one that aired in 2010, they showed Royce doing a full split. I never knew he could do that. Odd that they there was never a photo of Royce doing a full split. But, with that type of flexibility Royce would be great at pretty much any 10th Planet technique. It's too bad he seems to feel that only Helio's techniques are worthwhile... I'd love to see Royce step back into the octagon and kill once again...but I doubt it will happen.
In the meantime let's relieve his glory days with a Sepultura soundtrack...

Sorry but I think he's gonna have to fight a nobody to have any chance at all. Hughes freaking killed him! And that was several years ago. He trains pretty much always in the GI and there's no way his stand up can be any awesome all of the sudden. I mean, he couldn't even recover guard on MH.

I'd rather see the UFC double the pay ray to get Rickson to do a superfight on the card. Yeah he's in his 50's, but I guarantee it would be a much better fight than Royce.

That has to be Matt Hughes.. not sure that I want to see him fight Matt.. Matt is still one of the best, Royce has not fought in 4 years.
What about just an exhibition match? Royce vs one of the current champs, just all in good fun and something for the fans to enjoy? Any real comp would just be a bad idea for Royce these days.

Just heard from a source that Royce will NOT be fighing in Rio. Simply because Zuffa doesn't want him. Take that for what its worth though.
Royce vs george sotoiropilous in just a bjj macth allow royce to wear the gi and they could market it as... whats better? 10th planet or gracie/regular bjj. Atleast that is how i would advertise it and it also works out perfect because it's in brazil. I would even make this the main event after the Anderson fight. With the right advertsing it could be verry successful.
