Farthest North 10th planet needs to happen!

Hi, my name is Gerrit Butler and I live in Fairbanks Alaska. I have been training Jiu Jitsu for about 8 years now and have been into the 10th Planet System for about 4 Months. Ever since i started using the 10th Planet System my game has evolved immensely! I was wondering what it would take to affiliate a gym i am planning on opening in the next few months with 10th planet? I just recently had a child, so travelling right now is out of the question but i am willing to travel later this summer.

Also, if anyone is travelling to the Fairbanks, Alaska area please let me know! Would love to roll with some other 10th Planet followers!

Hey my man I is next door called the Yukon its in Canada we are right next too fairbanks other side. I just wanted to say hi and we got some peeps who use tenth planet jiu jitsu here too mabe we could meet and start a few training sessions in Whitehorse and Fairbanks get some serious training happening this summer road trip ya

That sounds great! i would love to have some roll sessions! I will be opening a grm this summer here in fairbanks so if any of you guys want to make the trip to Fairbanks i can cover your place to stay! I would also like to head to Canada and roll with you guys! its been a long time since i left fairbanks and I think the road trip would be amazing. Any 10th Planet members that come to Alaska that need a place to stay hit me up! Also I have a hook up to the Alaska Fighting Championships so if anyone is looking for a fight we have a really nice event here in alaska that has had 3-4 alaskans come out of and begin to fight in the UFC and such.

That sounds like a plan Gerrit and If I can swing it would really like to practice. I train in Whitehorse and teach privates muay thai and do jits. Fairbanks would be perfect having a connection to the AFC that would be extra cool. I also have connections to Dawson city the home of Caveman bill the town has one paved road and the home of the sour toe cocktail its a real toe too. I would really like to and these guys as well rock it. The possibilities are endless

Ya Garrit how big is your gym gonna be and what kinda equipment u gonna have there weights or mats and bags its sounds exciting and wht is your linage for teaching tenth planet or bjj or striking

Size all depends on what size warehouse my father in law is going to buy. other than that it is going to be a full MMA Style gym with Some weights, bags, and bikes. I come from a wrestling backround. I was a two times alaska State Wrestling Champ. For BJJ i trainer at New Breed Jiu Jitsu for 4 years. during that whole time I was very interested in the 10th Planet System, and when i started to apply the system in my rolling the results were amazing. For example last night i was teaching a class because we have 5 guys gettin rdy for a fight this weekend. While rolling with one of the guys my weight, I tapped him with a invisable collar. I guess there was so much pressure from the move that he could not hear out of his right ear for 20 min. I felt bad lol.

Personally I just wanna teach bjj and would love if it was 10th Planet stuff. I have fought 4 times and just recently had a child so i think i am done with the whole fight scene for a little while atleast.
