Sure why not. Dont think gsp could beat silva anyways. Doubt dana white will allow it
yep just as i expected dana wont put gsp vs silva because they are both to famous, and he doesnt want either losing, resulting in less pay per views, and more money (especially gsp since he knows he would get stomped by the spider)
but diaz will get murdered as well, nowhere near the wrestling credentials as jake shields, and shields couldnt even take gsp down
it will be another sleep fest and gsp will take a decision win again
don't count Diaz out. he is going to move forward and press and either get knocked out or knock somebody out. he does not give a shit. always fun fights to watch.
Exactly..and think of all the taunting! Might piss gsp off enough to get him to fight. I've never heard anyone label shields as an exciting fighter. What did peopl expect for this fight?Quote:

Diaz is the next natural match for GSP but GSP would not run down like Daily did and he is far more dangerous in every way.
another Come Back TUF for 170? Thats where his last loss came from.
If GSP tries to fight diaz the same way he fought shields, then he is going to lose that fight. Diaz is a noticeably better boxer than GSP ( GSP nuthuggers plz fuck off, it is my humble opinion), so I think GSP would try to take the fight to the ground and wrestle Diaz more readily than he did with shields. IT would be a great fight though.
stand up is not as effective when you are moving backwards the whole time. Diaz is always moving forward and if GSP wants to stand his ground, well he is fine with the clinch as well. But don't get me wrong GSP is badass. I hope this happens.Quote:

I don't think Nick will beat him. George has more weapons. And he mixes those weapons in a fight. Nick might average one or two kicks a fight. GSP only has to really worry about Nick's boxing. And he can deal with that with mixing leg kicks with his own boxing. But I would rather see this fight before Silva. We're almost guranteed that Nick will throw a punch within one minute of the opening round. While Silva and GSP are likely to circle for the first 2-3 minutes.
Sorry but Diaz is unlikely to beat GSP imo. Diaz and been beaten by superior and stronger wrestlers in the past and that is how I see GSP taking it. Taking Diaz down and GnP the decision out. GSP always has an excellent gameplan to win a fight, not make it all the thrilling.
We'll see. Diaz will get in his face and stay there. Diaz by gogo
Nick will have to control GSP first to get the gogo. And I find that unlikely. That move's gonna be well scouted.
