I was at Sprawl and Brawl in Birmingham on Saturday - and there was a fight there as well. I remember watching the fight (the actual MMA fight that everyone had paid to see) and noticing that nearly everyone else had craned the heads round to something kicking off behind me!

This is the third time that I witnessed fans kicking off at a MMA event, and I've only been to about 5 events!

As you guys can see, it is not realistic to say that one of those guys could have pulled guard and submit/choke his way out of this situation right? Everybody who told me that they would triangle the shit out of someone and have them wake up with a broken arm should give a second look at how an average street fight happens.

exactly...that's why I get pissed about folks talking about "dee reel steath deefence sit chi aye shun"....it's bullshit and stop selling people false confidence. Learn how to defend yourself? Sure..but walking or running the fuck away is probably the most effective self-defense technique known to man.

It is hard to accept but MMA fans who are not involved with any aspect of the fight game themselves are only interested and watching in order to see lots of blood and people mauling each other to unconsciousness. These are the guys who boo the fighters when they are clinched, these are guys who look bored, or go take a bathroom break while there is a chess match happening on the ground. Basically they are not in to enjoy or appreciate the fine details and moves of mixed martial arts. All they want or get is adrenaline and a mini testosterone boost. They don't know what things like Bushido and martial arts truly mean nor care. So this is the result of all that combined.

yep...the also manifest at bars and fight parties...the more evolved ones "train ufc" and have tapout shirts or local mma gym t-shirts...doesn't matter they still talk shit, start fights and act like apes...

Damn them retards!... MMA Events should not allow people that do not practices any arts to get in... except for womens :P
