I like when my test levels are high, I feel like a lion. I actually make a serious effort to keep them elevated cause of how beast it makes me feel. I eat steamed brocolli everyday , a piece of celery, and do sprints and heavy lifting on my off days all of which naturally increase my test.
but I want it higher. any suggestions on other thangs I can do (besides for steroids)? I love how it makes me feel and move.
well you can get natrual test boosters made of different herbs etc. not sure if they work though but most reviews ive read seem positive.
oh ya... i used some shit called pink magic, and some other stuff during the past few years. it was allright didn't do much though ya know. it was probably mostly a placebo for me.
pink magic is alright. none of them are that amazing, you get tolerant to them prety quick. They are all ok the first time you use them though. Tribulus and zma are cheap and good. Other than that the cream of the branded crop are probably usp prime, ax mass fx, norateen heavyweight and axis ht. There is so many out there, id give them a try

i sell suplerments and get asked for bulgarian tribulus all the time. I find that the Reflex brand is the best. Hope that helps.
Not testosterone but there was a study I remember reading that showed that just 10 one minute sessions on a Power plate the subjects experienced a suprising increase in Growth hormone levels. People who also use the plate regularly (At least twice a week) report feeling extremly high energy levels. Once participant described it as having a permanent coffee drip in her arm.
Beware though lots of fakes and pretenders. Make sure anyone you see is registered with Powerplate.com

there was a powerplate at the gym where i used to live. i tried it once in between my workout and got a dirty nosebleed, spent 5 minutes cleaning myself up in the bathroom, it ruined my workout groove :(

Theres alot of things you can do with herbs.
Tongkat Ali, Tribulus, as well as multiple chinese herbs including but not limited to Epimedium, Deer Antler, and others can all help to boost testosterone levels.
This should be done under the guidance of a licensed medical practitioner who specializes in herbs though because playing with your hormone levels without the guidance of an appropriate medical practitioner is foolish to the point of being dangerous.
Obviously if you find yourself snapping at people over nothing and wanting to murder people in traffic, you should likely back off on the dosages.

As for the power plate............ duh.
If you put stress on your bones your body will desire to strengthen them, upping production of HGH and similar hormones in order to increase bone density and strengthen connective tissue and muscles which support the joints that are under stress.
Jogging up steep stairs with a weighted backpack will do the same thing as will a host of other physical activities.
Yeah dude thats why you need to be supervised by a trainer. Those things really shouldn't be allowed to be used by people unsupervised. You can seriously hurt yourself using them incorrectly.Quote:

Do you expect Kettlebells or dumbells to give you a massage??? You're not supposed to just stand on it and let it do all the work. It's not a lazy workout and thats obviously why the author was dissapointed that in his words 'You can’t just “set it and forget it" on the Power Plate'.
Despite his bitching there are nice easy massage programs availible for the powerplate but they don't give them away free in Gyms!

No you idiot it's to make the exercises HARDER!! Doe's he seriously have no clue to anything?
Trying squatting on a Powerplate and see how much harder it's is as you have to recruit more muscles to stabalise yourself.
There are too many other points to further discredit him but I think I have made it clear that they Author clearly has no idea what the hell he is talking about. So to anyone that reads it I wouldn't take him seriously.

Of course, performing an excecise on an unstable vibrating surface complicates the excercise in terms of the forces exerted upon the joints and the neccessity for increased tension around multiple articulations neccessary to maintain balance.
Doing squats on a moving surfboard will of course exert more strain upon the joints than squats on a stationary surface.
Doing lunges while standing in the aisle of a moving city bus will generate much more strain upon tissues than doing them on a non vibrating hardwood floor.
Ultimately if you want to improve hormone production appropriate training is of course a huge part of that but there are also MANY herbs which can be used to influence things as well.
The power plates strike me as extremely faddish and potentially dangerous for alot of people with undiagnosed injuries and thus I fully agree they should only be used under the guidance of trainer who's experienced with that equipment.
If improving HGH production were a desired goal for a person who's levels were deficient or for an athlete trying to keep them elevated, vibrating equipment would be extremely low on my list of reccomendations.
Back on topic, neither beer nor tofu should be consumed on a daily basis either if you're trying to elevate testosterone levels. In moderation and consumed occasionally these will not make a huge difference but when consumed regularly both soy and hops are highly estrogenic in nature. Many hops growers have learned the hard way you need to handle hops in the field with gloves or after several years you can end up with erectile dysfunction and gynecomastia (ie limp d*** and man boobs).
I concur with James' critique of that review and even though I don't personally recommend those devices to any friends/patients/training partners if you do choose to use one you should do so under the guidance of a trainer experienced with that peice of equipment.

The people conducting the study of course were expecting a difference in HGH levels doing these exercises on a vibrating platform. Agreed on the avoidence of Tofu and beer. Daily consumption of those would impact testosterone levels.
I get what you're saying James but I take all research with a giant bowl of salt. One has to review the methodology, in the example of said power plate study how the hypothetical expectations were obtained, and also who funded the study before accepting it's conclusions as gospel truth. And of course, can the results be replicated by multiple independent tests, what was the sample size, etc.
For example a former proffessor of mine once met a fellow botanist at a botany conferance some years ago. He had lost hair, his eyes were sunken, and he appeared to be under immense stress. She asked him what was wrong, he expained that he had a high ranking position in a very large study but was under immense pressure to come up with something that demonstrated that tomatoes had anti cancer or anti CVD (cardiovascular disorders) properties. He had not slept well in months and his superiors were threatening to pull funding and cancel the study (thus firing him) if he did not produce results soon.
In the following months his team was able to identify some health benefits of lycopene. The research was funded almost entirely by Cambell's (soup). Once some benefits of lycopene were identified, their data set was heavily edited in order to delete any inconclusive data and deliberately showcase the tests which demonstrated some health benefits of lycopene.
Cambell's then used this heavily edited data set to create the final published version of the study and then utilized the study to launch an ad campaign about the healh benefits of lycopene and how Cambell's tomato soup was an excellent natural source of this chemical.
Hi Eric appreciate your post but that point wasn't really evident in your previous posts to me hence my responses. That's the trouble with communicating online this way. At least we're more clear on the issue now.
Good example regarding Campbells soup. You have to know how to crtique studies. I.E what were the Aims, the hypothisis. the methodology used etc. Best bet is to always research the document papers on the study but sadly many do not and even if some do they might have difficulty understanding parts of it.
