We have seen some fantastic kicks in mma this year and im sure there is more to come but for now what do you think is the kick of the year Lyoto? Anderson? Or Pettis? I'm going to have to to with anthony pettis even though he didnt knock ben henderson out with it. Thoughts?

Pettis, his was original, and extremely difficult to pull off. Anyone can throw a teep to the face.
Lyoto and Silva did not throw teep kicks they were front kicks there is a difference.

Oh I forgot about that fight. Those were some brutal leg kicks. Barboza is going to do big things
I could feel those legs kicks just from watching them. I don't know what was more brutal, the leg kicks, or the fact that the ref didn't stop the fight like 5 leg kicks before the last leg kick. Lullo was in BAD BAD shape and the ref let it keep going.Quote:

You can, but since teep means "thrusting" or the equivilent to, and that kicked snapped from the knee in an arc............it would sort of be like calling lying down "jumping" and saying they are the same thing though.Quote:
