So I have this Dinosaur...

For the past few years, almost everywhere I go, I take this rubber Dinosaur. And for those who know, I travel A LOT! In the past few months, we have traveled to New Orleans for Marti Gras, Savannah GA for St. Patty's Day, Ghana, Togo, Sierra Lione (Africa), the snowy mountains of Colorado and even Amsterdam for a business meeting (plus many many more places)

Before you get too jealous of Mr. Clark T. Rex (yup, he's gotta name), I gotta explain a few things.
Clark is not just any ole' dinosaur. Clark is my official mascot for my non-profit business I run here in Destin, Florida.
I run a group called Destin Nights. We put on events every few months where 100% of what we raise goes to charity. not 80 or 90%, every single penny. We don't have salaries, overhead or any other crap like that. It's a group of me and 4 friends who want to make a difference in our community.
We just did a Motorcycle rally, singles auction and UFC Prize rally where we raised over $15,000 for local area charities, including Special Operations Warrior Foundation. And, its a fucking blast.
Why carry a fucking dino? Because when we go out, people walk up to us and say "Hey, what's with the fucking Dino?!"
Then we can tell them about what my company does, who we are then they tag us in post, pics and notes. (Clever, right?!)

So why do I bring this up? Well, for one, I figured you guys would get a kick out of the 675 (not a typo) friends that he has on Facebook and the crazy ass pictures he has.

That dinosaur has more friends than me :(

Btw +1 on all the good things you do. I am a big supporter of %100 charity work and hate that bla bla bla childedrens fund showing dramatic pictures of hungry children while passing a line on the bottom @200 miles per hour saying about %15 of what you donate goes to the children, with the rest we feed our own families cause this is our job.....

thats exactly WHY i started it. I went to a big benefit here in town, these fools raised something like $300k! I asked the lady who ran it how much stayed in the area. she told me approx. 5%. the rest went to some place outta state to be divided out.
After looking into it, I was just saddened to see what ACTUALLY happens with most 501c3 charities.
So, i said fuck it. i can throw a WICKED party. Why not Me? I only work with LOCAL businesses and only donate to LOCAL charities. most the time, its to families and things like that. If i dont see the impact, i dont work with it.
you would be amazed how much doing something like this does for a community. i mean...Clark is a rockstar! haha :)

Man Kendell thats really cool!!! I'm glad there are still good people out there!!! I respect the fact that you take your time and help without expecting anything in return... I've been trying to do stuff with the Lymphoma society in my free time . My wife has Cancer so it hits home. Thanks for all you do Kendell.
