Destin Florida July 23rd BJJ Tournament

Ok people. Anyone in the area, this is where you go. This is the "Emerald Coast Power Expo." There will be powerlifting, grappling, arm wrestling, fitness modeling, wrestling...and more stuff. My gym is making the trip up there and it will be my first time competing in blue belt. I won the white belt nogi last year in the 170 pound division weighting 159. Will show up at 155 this time. If anyone North of Mobile wants to make the trip down, they are more than welcome to ride the rest of the way with me. Hope to see some of you there, it was a pretty good turnout last year. I believe it's basically ufc weight classes and should be tons of fun. Will bump this periodically

Same as last year, but hopefully with a little more organization this time. I know I'll be bringing plenty of new guys :)

Please be better organized. I grappled a guy who was receiving coaching from a bb judge, during the match.

Im good friends with them now so they'll probably just combine weight classes and feed me to their best guy who cut 20. Should be fun.

When you party with "dynamite" in Biloxi they apparently drop the 10p discrimination. We've fought with MMA Solutions so are fairly familiar with those guys. Really tough gym.

Bump! 10th Planet Mobile hotbox will still be making the trip. First bjj tournament since NAGA Atlanta in February. Bobby's going in advanced and Blue belt gi, i'll be in intermediate and Blue belt gi so hopefully it'll be a 10th Planet final in gi's (oh the irony). We have a younger guy who's a killer (blake jordan) that will have some straight nasty 10th Planet highlights so I hope ya'll are ready. I'm personally not 100%, had a respiratory infection last week and spent the week on antibotics and taking it easy. Feeling way better than last week but not confident like I usually am before tournaments. Either way, going balls to the wall and whatever happens....happens. Any 10th Planet people in the area should definitely swing by to compete or just watch if it's bad timing. Videos to follow (as usual)

Dynamite is the ring announcer for Atlas Fights. Afterwards he got us in a limo and promised to get all of us laid. All while doing his Bruce Buffer, which is pretty good, all night. Anyway, hijinx insues alongside of drunken debauchery and turnsout, Dynamite is a very sad, insecure, manic, depressed man acting out on the verge of some sort of breakdown or life crisis. And a liar. None of us got laid. Good times
