Smoke Serpent album being produced by exNIN Danny "Renholder" Lohner

Day 1 of the production of the Smoke Serpent album is complete. Danny "Renholder" Lohner formerly of Nine Inch Nails is producing it and so far it's going perfectly. We are doing 14 songs and "jiu jitsu" is first. Already it sounds 100 times better than what's up on reverbnation.com/smokeserpent.

Danny is fucking amazing, not only was he Trent Reznor's right hand man for 10 years in NIN but he also produced the soundtracks for all 3 Underworld movies, plus he's also produced songs for David Bowie, Depeche Mode, Perfect Circle and a whole shit load more.

This album is gonna have incredible production, should be done by October :)

Hey Eddie, I love your new song Jiu Jitsu! But why does it sound distorted when the bass hits? Was it just a rough cut or am I to artistically Handicapped to appreciate the edgyness of it?

Every song you have ever heard from me except the latest version of dropped has been a rough cut. Everyone of those songs are demos. Wait til you hear the real versions come October, you'll forget all about the guerilla production of the past :)

Dude !!!! Thats AWESOME! One of my favorite concert's ever! Have you checked out Siouxsie and the Banshees ? Robert Smith played guitar with for a bit. Disintegration and Wish are in my top album list. Also got into The Smiths for awhile.

Danny is one of the most talented people in music that you'll ever find. Saw him live playing drums for A Perfect Circle years ago and he was amazing. I thought he was touring with them again this summer though. I was really looking forward to seeing him behind the kit again on the Wednesday.
