Nice.
mad props and great finish! way to have the balls to get out there and rep. Id like to see you drop more elbows when on top.
change diet by eating 2500 calories a day, for 1 month, then to 2000 for another month. All while swimming, running, and wreslting. in interval sprint type sets
challenging yourself is the next step forward.
Constructively speaking, In the 1st rd when both fighters are fresh, I would say it was a bad idea to spin for that armbar because it's low % and positioning is more important and you lost position because he still had a ton of energy and then you used a lot of energy fending off that Key lock/Americana and dealing with his weight eventually you got the sweep but it looked deep for a sec, if you stay in side control just a little longer throw some knees to the body you probably wear him down a little bit that armbar becomes higher % and you finish in the 1st, The only other thing is in the 2nd when you put knee on belly try and remember to have the knee that's not on the belly off the ground so he has to support your entire weight, it didn't matter because at that point he was gassed and just let you mount but for future. Anyways Great sub! Nice gang sign.
great job controlling your opponent. I liked what you did at 3:52 when he was trying to keep you from hitting him.
Good job man, nice finish!
They allow people to wear tights? What about a tutu?
Take this for what it is, just an observation...
When you had side mount in that first round, the only reason he was not able to get out is because he was just laying there. Had he hip escaped or rolled, you would have lost that control. Keep your butt down.
A guy who used to train where I train always said "butt made of concrete, spine made of steel." Corny, but it sums it up nicely. He was also a former Mundial champion.
You move pretty good for a big guy, I liked how you actually went for submissions pretty quick.
I think you could have finished that fight pretty quick in the 1st round since the guy tried to hold your head like he was going to have a guillotine with you in side control. Learn the Von Flue choke.

actually, this is probably a better one to look @

I know the Von flue choke... There Were a lot of things I did wrong in this fight... Things I normally don't do... But I was very sick and wanted a quick finish... Most of the mistakes you guys are pointing out are true... But they aren't normal behavior of mine... I was not pleased with this performance
More punching in your dominant positions :)
It happens, man. A friend of mine just had his first mma fight a couple of weekends ago, and he's an insane kickboxer and grappler, but got in the cage and looked like he hadn't trained a day in his life. He gassed, and then with the adrenaline dump... Yeah. But the next time he fights, he'll have that experience already out of the way.
You looked more composed than he did, and he's been training for 10 years.
Thank you guys for watching and being incredibly polite with your advice! I'm definitely proud to represent 10thpjj.
I'm thinking I will compete in more Jiu Jitsu tournaments... I don't get enough fights! And I want more experience!
I love how even though you're gassed, you're still hunting for a submission at every opportunity. Great respect at the end and awesome armbar :)
Very proud.
Thanks bro!
I'll admit, I'm a fan. I love how relaxed and composed you are in there and even just talking about your fights. "oh yeah, just defended my title and took another arm home. it was nice". Just another day in the office for you huh? haha
Good job, looking forward to seeing your next fight. I wish you all the best!
Thank god man, i sweart people act liek it doesnt even exist, when someone tries holding my neck in side control i get the von flue choke 80% of the time and tap them lol. its sad seeing so many people that could have used that move to win in UFC and other mma fights when some fools is holding their neck from the bottom like that.
also PJ great fight, ive got cardio issues too so i know how hard it can be to keep pushing at times.
What did you do to that guys arm? it looked recked!!
Thanks kiram!
Oh yeah, his arm snapped and popped a lot!!! The same thing happened in my last fight and that guy's arm ended up in a sling for a long time... People don't tap... I won't hesitate to try to break it
That was beautiful! Especially you flashin the gang sign after you tapped him!
Seriously tho, you did great, of course you need to polish the shit out of your jiu jitsu, who doesn't tho, but you entertained the fuck out of me. Too many Mma fights out there with barely half the jiu jitsu that was in your fight, proud of you man :)
