So, just a few minutes ago while working Loss Prevention for a large grocery chain I won't name, I stopped a subject for stealing a large bottle of tequila. While outside the store talking to the subject he grabbed me by the throat and drew his right arm back as if he was going to punch me in the face.. I have done jitz forever so my reaction was a sick uchi mada that placed him on his head on the sidewalk. Right after we hit the ground I shot right right knee acrossed his face and was applying a kimura on his right arm. Cops showed up after I yelled at a employee to call them. He was charged for theft and assault. The worst part was he ripped my 10th planet shirt I was wearing!

When you said that he grabbed your throat I thought you were going to flying arm bar him. The Uchi Mata was a much wiser choice.

He has both hands because on the sidewalk he had the glass tequila bottle in his hand, so I grabbed it. Then he got mad because I was explaining to him he needed to come inside or he was going to jail. Just didn't want to have to write the whole police report again, so I skipped that part. Lol

Loss prevention.. I used to work as that. Same as shop detective, right? Civilian clothes, catching thieves.. Mostly old ladies.. But I never got into any fights. As a bouncer however.. *Phew!*

But the knees to the face sounds like overkill man..! He must have been a big dude then. He probably enjoyed the thought of how he was going to smash you, lol! He deserved it. And the shirt.. Sacrilege! That guys manly marchioness must be damaged beyond repair now, lol!

Yeah, but it would be him against the witnesses, and the police.. 99% of the time it would lead nowhere.. If I take a wild guess, he probably had alcohol in his bloodstream as well, and that doesn't help either, lol!

yea. it is the same as Loss Prevention. I wear normal clothes and follow people all day. Been in many fights in the parking lot over stolen merchandise. And i didnt knee him in the face, I placed my knee across his face, like knee on belly style while i kimura his arm with just enough pressure so that he wouldnt fight anymore.

This kind of weak ass mentality is what criminals count on and gets people hurt. But somebody has to sack groceries while men like Gerrit keep people in check. Hes not scared of getting sued hes scared of assholes having their way in this world.

And yes the subject was drunk, and this is the second time I have arrested him for stealing alcohol, and the first time he attacked me also, so i had to "assist" him to the ground.

And yes i was making a crazy face Lol! I was high on adreniline. Also right side of my shirt near my neck is the rip. That asshole ripped my favorite 10pjj shirt! Lucky i have one in every color lol!

There are a ton of people who say "never go to the ground in a street fight", but I have used more jiu-jitsu in street fights than anything else. Mostly RNCs and guillotines, but plenty of positions, too. Mount, knee-on-belly like a motherfucker, sprawls, I've even shot on people a few times... All worked beautifully.

Glad you're ok, man. It always makes me feel great to see decent people being able to defend themselves against turds.
