It's wild to start seeing the JJ community catch onto the effectiveness of the truck (while still hating on the 10th planet system). Vinny is quickly becoming one of my favorite fighters to keep an eye on. His approach to grappling is awesome (use everything that works).
I was just thinking to myself, banana splits must suck way more than any joint lock if the guy goes full blast.
Are there down sides to securing the grapevine before the roll, the way Vinney did? I know the typical move has you hit the grapevine during the roll.
i think he broke his crotch. You know they didnt wanna tap when they give you the 1 slap tap. Or slap you in the face to tap to a triangle
It doesn't seem like there would be a downside.. just more difficult to set up than securing the grapevine in transition, I would think.Quote:
