Rolled Up #25 with Jeff Glover - here it is!

The most colorful episode of Rolled Up yet! In this 25th show, Budo Jake takes Jeff out to the fair where they compete on a variety of challenges including a fun house race, corn eating contest, wall climb and more. Jeff shares his thoughts on training with different instructors and the most important thing for beginners to learn.

Sick, Wicked and Nasty. The interview was sick, The triangle setups were wicked and the roll was nasty. My favorite episode yet.

Seems pretty unanimous. Best yet imo as well. Jeff glover is def my second favorite to learn from because I agree that I want my jj to be fluid transitions to create and capitalize on openings dynamicly. If its fun to watch, I promise, its funner to do.

On a different note, I am curious to know whether or not Mr. Glover receives any hate mail for naming and renaming the chokes (darce, marce, farce, starce & slarce). He should know that all of those have been common in Brazil for years. He is simply taking moves that other people created and renaming them. Really arrogant and classless, in my opinion.

You do realize that people have been saying the same thing about Eddie for years, regarding the renaming of moves. I think you need to relax a bit. All that humidity down south must have clouded your thinking for a moment. Those varaitions on the name Darce are variations of the original move. A way for him to teach, and for us to retain information. The same thing Eddie is doing, by helping to progress Jiu-Jitsu. By calling Glover arrogant and classless you are inturn denigrading him for doing the same thing that Eddie does and that is just plane ignorant.

Great episode man. Glover is definitely one of my favorite's and it was cool to learn a little more about him. Loved the triangle setups as well as the roll at the end. Gonna have to check out his DVD's. I'm sure they are epic.

I do love it. I enjoyed the interview in this episode as much or more as I did the actual techs and rolling footage. Hearing him describe what the "art" meant to him was very cool.

Thank you for this great episode, Budo Jake. All of the episodes I've seen are great, but this one is absolutely my favorite!

Great episode. I'm loving the new "blind date" format, it really got Jeff to open up and discuss things in depth. Overall a very interesting conversation, great techniques, and a great roll. Jake, thank you again for sharing these episodes with us.

Absolutely one of the most fun episodes of Rolled Up to watch! Great job Jake. Way to beat up Jeff Glover in the eating contests. Take a mark for all of the Jiu-Jitsu fat kids (on the inside)! I always say I don't skinny dip. I chunky dunk! I'm a fat kid at heart.

Those triangle set-ups were awesome. I'm going to have to study those for hours. Very entertaining episode and mind blowing techniques. We can all tell you love filming Rolled Up but I have to say thank you for all of the free techniques. It has to be hard work even though it's a lot of fun.

These episodes have made a huge impact on my game as I'm sure it has the game of others. Keep up the great work. Your questioning on the philosophy of each professor is awesome. I don't know how many people I've told "tap your opponent before you tap anything else. We're here to learn not to win. It's not a fight for the gold at ADCC. Don't get hurt." When I heard Jeff Glover say it I was stunned. This was the first time I've really watched Jeff and you've turned me into a huge fan. I'll be watching in September and rooting for him. Can't wait for the Darce, marce, sarce...whatever, DVD.;)
