he shoulda tapped! he hooked the leg its game over from there on out
That was a slick transition into that triangle!
Niiice!!! Good job man
Great job and nice that he checked on his opponent after choking him out.
Nice Tyler!
solid reffing
i have never seen anybody put to sleep with an armless triangle. really cool. was he punching the carotid with his right hand? i have to think that's what put him out.
Nice.
Great Success!
when you go for that north south position what stops him from moving down and into a choke? dose anybody else use that transition and know the answer?
Ya I did the 'douche-bag' choke. Just put the knuckles into the carotid and that was it. He went limp and before I thought he might be asleep I was trying to figure out how he thought the 'lay on you defense' was working. Then it realized he was.
Ref had no ideaaaa
how did you do that, was it like a mission control with your legs figurefoured?
It comes from when someone attempts a baby wipe pass on you. Just figure four your legs and decide how you want to choke the opposite side of your leg connection. You can grab your ankle like a ninja choke either in front or behind the guys head. Or do the asshole move and use your fist haha

Tyler you totally earned my respect when you checked on the guy straight away, i hate when guys choke people out and just walk away like they are badass. awesome match man :)
Class act and solid jits. You know how 10 do.
Yeah, that tech eliminates any laziness when double under passing. You capitalized quick. Clean son. I also can escape way better from north south, your hips arent pinned and its easier to create space.
Yeah, that was crazy. It looked like an armless triangle with a little gag reflex thrown in there. In the past when I have done the double under pass I have not worried my head getting triangled because I didn't think you could finish from there. I'll have to keep this in mind and not allow people to close the triangle.
Sick catch. Sneaking that arm in before they pass the no handed no triangle can be a bit tricky.
muy bueno
First, Tyler is one of the finest young men I've had the pleasure to teach/coach. He's a great example to everyone. His expression of Jiu Jitsu and the 10th Planet system has grown tremendously. He regularly taps "purple belts" from other more traditional schools, often with much more experience and often size on him. That was a classic Tyler move with the fist in. That's what happens when you do a technique sloppy-someone who's put in the reps will get you every time. Well done Tyler, and you are a true class act and sportsman. That was a great display of sportsmanship.
AWESOME triangle, one of my favourites. The fist in the neck is for sure the tightest no-arm triangle, although a similar one can be done as if you are pulling mission control when they have double unders and you lock up the triangle. I think Denny shows it on an ooold video?
Tyler is super sneaky with being able to get to that position. I'd like to say he's never caught me with it but I'd be lying :). Nice work Tyler!
Wow!
Gag reflex. Get that shit here.

Kickass job Tyler! Well done.
