A Shout Out To Don Blankenship

This guy packed up all his stuff, left the place he has been his entire life, left a gym that he had confidence in and moved to Decatur, AL because he was committed to learning at a 10th Planet school. I think that's awesome.

I'm super proud to have someone with that kind of desire to learn. And it makes me feel fantastic to have someone express that kind of confidence in me as a coach, even though I am only a Blue Belt.

I promise to give you everything I got, Singlet.

I'll bring Don some UT stuff when I hit the "Zoginar" down there. The we can have a few beers, sing Rocky Top, and reminisce about Don's nugs of life and whatnot.

You know training at my gym in Tennessee (well north mississippi) was awesome and i plan on visiting some. But however i do play tenth planet techniques and trust in the system. So everyone there can give me advice on non tenth planet stuff like butterfly guard, x guard, and all of there unique styles of play. i do adapt all things but tenth planet is what the core of my system is. So when you have a school and other guys who play the same kind of game and can guide you in the techniques you enjoy then thats a double bonus. I guess its like being a member of the same church. You agree on what you can and can't eat for dinner. We all love eating.....but when you can eat at a place with others who enjoy the same delicious food.......thats tenth planet for you. I hope to rep the system through Brandon's and my other friends guidance. Cheers.
