How many people actually do this? I saw Jeff say he competed high most of the time, so I was just curious if this was a popular practice. I personally feel like smoking before i roll helps significantly. Just seems to allow me to relax and flow a little better. Im still in my beginning stages of JJ so its not all muscle reflex yet.. But it just feels like while im grappling high.. i stop over thinking things and see a lot more possibilities rather than get stuck focusing on one submission. I notice a lot more transitions during my high sessions. Rather than getting stuck mid-submission and waiting around or trying to force it, im much quicker to abort and transfer to the next line of attack. Though Ive only been in 2 tournaments, and the 2nd one i smoked when i got there, but by the time i had my match a few hours later i was back to my normal self. So I was just curious how many of you prefer competing under the influence of the ganja.
