more than anything it was cool to compete against a black belt for the first time and also this guy had a sweet counter to my attempt at the calf crank and i thought you fellas would like to see it.
Well, I mean, a legit black belt is a legit black belt. No shame in getting tapped by a BB.

The GB guys are all solid around here. They're all pretty cool too. We've got some GB guys in our Hotbox and they're all respectful of Eddie and 10th Planet.
Im talking about your attack that you called a calph crank. You shoulda reaped and heelhooked for better control and hides your feet better. I know from experiance. But Ive never grappled a BB in comp. Looked good. Props.

Nice work Nathan. Keep that left foot flat to the floor so he can't pick the toe hold or heel hook option. Keep your shin and knee in his chest for distance. Keep your foot in his loaves. Minimize the leg distance of your inside bent leg. If you feel him threaten, give up turning to the right and turn left instead, straighten your left leg, exposing his left heel for toe/heel hook.Quote:
