My Expert No Gi NAGA Belt Win In Rhode Island 10/16/11

This is the kid his father was head instructor at the school. He was walking thru all his guys until we met.They are brazilian and his dad is the one that said "dont worry about that 10th planet crap". Sounds way worse in that brazilian accent.LOL.

You see me get his leg and let it go. I had a heel hook locked up. (forgot can't do it in kids division. Reff said very nice.....now let it go or I will dissquilify you.lol)

At end of tape you hear my dad talking to reffs table. They ask my name and school, so the could record the win. He has to say 10th planet like 3 times. Just think its kinda funny...... I'm a walking billboard. It's on my chest, it's on my back, it's on my ASS !!! Not really that hard to figure out.lol.

James F. I think my stand up is way stronger then my jiu jitsu game. My dad is my main stand up instructor. He was the mid-west kickboxing champion and coach and instructor for many years. I also train with Marc Stevens. He owns the school I go to. He was on season 12 of The Ultimate Fighter. His stand up is really strong as well. I'm also a former silver gloves champion so my boxing is pretty solid. I am very comfortable on my feet.

KZA Start wrestling as soon as football is over. I have been given no choice. wrestling coach's watched me destroy one of there star's with jiu jitsu one day screwing around in gym. Told me I WILL REPORT TO WRESTLING WHEN SEASON STARTS. :) They want to see if they can turn some of that jiu jitsu skill loose on the wrestling mat. Told them they got a uphill battle because I love being on my back. They said they can fix that. WE will see. lol.

Be prepared for pain from the Spartan-like/Dan Gable training they're going to put you through right off the get go, ESPECIALLY if you ran through their star wrestler. Some of the wrestlers may give you flak for using "gay jiu-jitsu" on them ie "stuff they don't know how to defend yet," but that's okay.

Dayum, Connor, you look better and better every match, and you get bigger and bigger with every match too, just how tall are you gonna be dude? :) When Connor competes I the whole auditorium knows 10th Planet is in the house! Logo on his buttocks, down the side of his shorts, on his rashie, makes me so damn proud. Start working hand stands now as well Connor, working balance and core is the ultimate :)

Eddie I had my foot checked out because it was bothering me a while back. The Dr. measured my growth plates and said I should be 6'3 to 6'4. I'm 5'10 right now 160 pounds

James F, I thought you ment my stand up stand up lol. It is better then it ever has been but it still sucks.lol. Thats what I hope the wrestleing boys can help me with. I know they are going to come after me, no problem. Not looking to be an olympic champion so got nothing to prove to them. They kick my ass in there world, I kick theres in mine....... it's all good. I already told coach's they are going to be more help to me then I will be to them. Its all about making my JJ game better.

Yeah, wrestling is amazing for your jiu-jitsu. Since starting, inane been on my back for about 30 seconds total in 5 comps. It does mean that my guard work is getting left behind though!
