smh
Wow.... That's the worst thing I've heard or seen! This should be burnt and never spoke of again.
Well, at least the video production values are high in the video.
I'm trying not to hate on someone's artistic endeavors, he obviously put a lot of time and effort into it. Someone out there's going to like this...I hope...for Ralek's ego's sake.
There is only one real G in a Gi
http://mmaworldnews.com/wp-content/t...&zc=1&q=90&a=l
and he does it all for the children
lawl i mean, it's better than most crap on the radio
If Ralek wants to rap ( I don't think he should), it would be a bit better if he did not mix it with jiujitsu. That just made it worse. I think it would have been tolerable if the video had some fat butted women dancing around without a purpose and borrowed expensive cars that even the singers themselves could not afford.
i was too shocked at how ridiculous it was, clearly the guy never actually listened to the song once, if he had he would notice that the lyrics fail hard, they dont match up with the music, and the video just makes no real sense. Ralek, i am disappoint
LOL that was cringeworthy. :-)
Why is nobody shitting on this?
Oh I dunno, maybe because most people are sensible and realize that it's not that far of a departure from what Eddie's been doing and it would be pretty hypocritical to talk shit about attempting to fuse jiu-jitsu and music?
yes i like the fusing of music with Jiu jitsu. However Ralek has no lyrical talent, unlike Compella, whom is extremely talented. Plus the beats/production on Dropped or JJ is much much better than on G in a Gi. IMO of course. :-)
Just listened to his (Ralek) album on itunes. Its called GINAGI.
To be fair a couple of tunes on there are much better than the G in a Gi song. :-)
" Ralek has been producing music for over 10 years but is just now dropping his debut album "Ginagi." The entire album is written and produced by the black belt; the beats and lyrics are surprisingly wide-ranging and thought provoking. "
" I rock the Kimono like I'm rocking with bono " - Ralek Gracie 2011
this made my day
he could of atleast colaberated with a good rapper. that was poor!
I watched on mute and still cringed.
Only if you thought what Eddie was doing was good just because it was Eddie doing it. When i first listened to his song Jiu-Jitsu, I was really disappointed and thought it was ass. When I watched the video my whole perspective changed and now I kinda like it. It's not my favorite song, but I enjoy it now.
The awfulness Ralek has created is just bad. The Gracies are some of the baddest dudes out there, but they aren't "Gs" by any stretch of the imagination. From the people who are notorious good guys to try to be hard and edgy in a video like this just doesn't make sense. If he had gone for some kind of acoustic guitar around a campfire kind of thing it might have worked, or even rocked to a straight edge theme. But gangsta rap from someone who considers cheeseburges drugs?
I give his music an E for effort. He could def use some help with the rhyming from someone thats put more life effort into rhyming. I think he raps about jits cuz its what his whole life experience is, just like when a lot of rappers get rich they have nothing to rap about but money related stuff. The gangster thing is a little forced. The gi theme might be a Yin and Yang manifestation of the universe to go against the 10p no-gi wave threatening the old gi forces with :D
His single last year.

This song gave me explosive diarrhea!
I can't believe not one of you has suggested that Renato Laranga make a Weird Al Yankovic style parody of this. Renato would absolutely kill that ending scene where he can't get into the club because he's wearing a gi ;)
I. Uhh.. ummm. Yeah.
This is what happens when you try to rap positive, people.
"Shit could get heavy like tons of broccoli (1:53)" and I thought Lil Wayne was bad lmao
"Bring a CD and some Bob Marley." Sounds like a weed reference to me
Horrible song is horrible. I made it like 30 seconds and still have the "g in a GI" part stuck in my head. Pure garbage.
I hate it.
I don't like Gi's or G's.
Another vote for Renato Weird Al rap song.
Horrible song!! E for effort.
