umm...?
am I missing something?
Heel kicks to the face lol awesome.
I never thought of entering the triangle position as an escape from heel kicks. But hey it worked he didn't get kicked anymore.
That was a nice transition, reminds of when Evan Tanner tapped Robbie Lawler years ago.
Is that one of our guys?
I vote that for a re-title, like " Is this the dumbest way to stop getting head kicked from a downed fighter".
The dude should have initiated a pass. He totally had the knee slicer.
I was at that fight....last Saturday. It was in the town I grew up in...Kokomo, IN. I got a little excited when he briefly started using the 10p system. You might even hear me yell out. I was really close to the Rastafarian's corner in the VIP section. Anyways, that is not one of our guys. He trains out of Marion, IN...not sure of the gym. He is a really young up and coming fighter with good skillz. I sent him a message on facebook after the fights and invited him up to 10th Planet Indy to cross-train with us anytime. He replied and seemed really into the system. I hope to see him at the gym in the future. We've got some good up and comers too. Some have fought for this promotion before. Its one of the best show we got here in Indiana. Stay tuned:)
reminds me of the time i shot a hobo
hahaha I dig it
Gold, I will try that next slow roll. lol.
that black dude looks like Kimbo on crack.
Its always good to have active guard! nice
I don't know about best ever but I like the heel kicks to the face
Colloseum Combat was the first live MMA shows I ever saw. I think when people were caught in a bad predicament they would say "FINISH HIM" from Mortal Combat over the speaker systems. I could be wrong but that might be the first org that I saw Brandon Palmer fight in... if not that then it was Extreme Combat International.
Its funny how so many guys are still using that same old angle coupled with squeezing the knees together to finish the choke.
Yes it works, but no it is not nearly as efficient as the leg-press + leg curl as a counterpoint that Ryan Hall uses.
Dig the use of upkicks
kinda makes me think of when BJ Penn heel kicked, I believe, Kenny Florian from back mount.
