There's a great sweep you can hit if they go for a darce. Ill have to look for the video
i think you are talking about the mechanic.

Beat me to it.
Anyways its a really good one
Stay really low(ear against belly button) and keep your chin tucked against your chest and your shoulder. Keeping your chin tucked against your shoulder is very important because it stops your opponent from sliding his hand all the way through. You can also grab the wrist and turn it into a mechanics sweep if you have full control of the arm as hes trying to slide in the darce.
Mechanic ftw. Doesn't work so good against good guys who are wayyy bigger.
I'm actually just referring to one training partner specially that it doesn't work so well against whose a solid purple and got me by 40-50 lbs. With the right timing there is very little resistance.
for me personally its all about the boa, getting to your knees while keeping those double-underhooks. zero threat of danger.
i like to go boa when i release the boa i no im at risk so wen i grab the foot/toes and get going working the perfect foot work to get up to the dog fight. however if he manages to break my posture and assumes a vice grip i bail straight to my back forces him to post or get swept. i like the mechanic sweep but sometimes it can be awkward during the old school transition.
