Why isn't Ron Paul in this vote?! SCANDAL! SCANDAL!
This moon is ineligible to be nominated for a 3rd term.....unless Kendell approves it.

DENIED! The only GOOD Bush is a shaved one, with two lips that never talks.
The Montreal Moon is only 3 years old and we are already a force to be reckoned with. We are a small player in a big city with monster gyms like Tristar Gym (Home of GSP) and HQ for Brazilian Top Team Canada. With hard work, we are carving ourselves a very good name in Montreal. Not an easy thing to do. Caralho.
I hit the wrong button on my phone earlier. Idiot. My vote got all fucked up.

10th Planet Springfield MO had a big 2011. They got a new state of the art gym, They had seminars free of charge for anyone who wanted to attend with Sean Bollinger, Jeff Glover, and Gokor. They also had seminars with Eddie and Caio Terra that were free to attend for anyone who brought a toy for a toy drive the gym held for children with cancer. They've had Sean Bollinger come in an instruct for a week of classes on a couple of occasions. Tons of competitors won or placed high in comps. Brian Stuebner, my coach, received his brown belt promotion, and he's gearing us up to crush it in 2012!
Tight race! Montreal came back big, can they maintain the lead? or will Springfield make a late run?
The winning school gets a banner advertising their school on this site for an entire year :)

Last year was huge for us at 10th Planet Springfield. We moved into a much larger and better equipped facility. We brought in top grappling talent like Jeff Glover, Eddie, Sean Bollinger, Caio Terra, and Gokor to help teach the masses. Most of these seminars were free except for the Eddie and Caio seminars which we used to collect gifts to go to the local oncology department for kids who are fighting cancer. Many of our core members Ranked up and My Coach Brian was promoted to brown belt. Sean Bollinger was also brought out to teach a weeks worth of classes a couple times. I truly believe that we have a gym that is helping to strengthen 10th Planet here in the midwest.
A big thanks to everyone who has voted for us. With 5 days left it is anyones game. Any pro members who haven't voted pick the school you think deserves it and vote. May the best school win.
Winning Moon of the Year would certainly be a great honor. But seriously, the prize would help my school out so much. 10th Planet Montreal is literally a small fish in a giant ocean. Everybody in Montreal wants to train at TriStar Gym (where GSP trains) or Head Quarters for BTT Canada, another big school. I've survived so far by busting my old ass and competing and also getting my students to compete. I don't have the budget to do much marketing and this prize would certainly help out big time. Thank you. :)
Where are the voting buttons for 10th Planet Melbourne (Australia)?
put another vote down for 10th Planet Melbourne; the place has pretty much become a second home for me.
Frank Barca is the man. He's done an awesome job of nurturing the 10th Planet System in Australia. Nobody is more devoted than he is. But you guys should have been more active during the "nomination phase". Get Melbourne voted in for next year. :)
Support given for the Montreal Moon.
Great gym. Great people. Growing talent from the ground up.
There are tons of moons out there who are doing really well but im gonna have to give it to Louise at Montreal for holding the fort down especially with Tri-star and BTT Canada at his door step. Keep up the hard work Montreal!

Did 10P Rochester simply not get nominated, or am I missing something?
I was super hesitant to vote, because i was under the impression that you couldnt vote for your own team. Maybe that was just to nominate, but it was made very clear that you couldnt vote for your own team. The only reason i support this, is it forces people to be honest and unbiased. The way the poll is set up now, it seems to just be out to prove who has the most students online. Which is cool and all, but we should change it to "got the most students to sign up for 10thplanetjj.com this year Moon." This is an noteworthy accomplishment just the same, But when I hear "MOON of THE YEAR" i think of tournament prescense, i think of the impact that this moon has on its town, its state, its region, and the globe. I remember a year or so ago eddie was talking about what it takes to take your gym to the next level, a few things i remember, 1 get your guys competeing and winning. 2 get some wrestling in your gym. 3 get weights and some strength training. 4 get as much info from the source's as you can.
1 Lets tally medals for the year, no doubt were in the top. 2 braught a world class wrestling coach into the mix. 3 we now have STATE OF THE ART gear to train with, if its makin diffrences in the top level players games, we have one, if not three. 4. weve mentioned before Glover, Caio Terra, Eddie Bravo, Sean Beezy, Gokor, and the list goes on and on. Im preaching to the choir at this point. When it comes it impacts made tho, not a tournament in the midwest goes on without 10thplanet Springfield showin up deep. We have asserted ourselves as the best equipped (tools and Coaches) gym in the midwest. As for our impact on the community, as far as i know were the only one who gave every seminar this year, for FREE. There was two seminars that required you to donate toys, that we then donated to children with cancer, im not positive, but what other gyms engage in things like that in their community.
I voted for Montreal because I know Louis competes after having had some pretty nasty injuries, and it makes me that that I could (one day) step onto the mats at a comp myself.
Brian has also went out of his way to try and help us with make 10th Planet Poplar Bluff a reality, taking us in several times and every day last week and would not take a cent. The Eddie Bravo seminar was awesome and made a lot of kids with cancer christmas's better with all the toy donations. Everyone else there has been great as well, made me and PJ feel like family. They deserve to win.Quote:

I would like to vote for springfield, but it says "You may not vote on this poll"
Brian and 10th Planet Springfield have also helped us here at 10th Planet St. Louis. Brian helped us while going through the affiliation process last year giving us private lessons to help us fine tune our 10th P fundamentals. He always invites us down to his FREE seminars and even lets our guys hitch a ride with his school on a bus that HE rents to go to tournaments in the midwest. Brian has gone way out of his way to help ALL the midwest schools raise their game and for this he gets my vote
