U got results?
I don't have results brotha, all I can report on is Geo running first at purple, Boogieman running first at blue. Ginga Ninja(sf) running first at blue. Jeanilee running first at Purple.. Epstein and Denny running first at Advanced!!! Denny catching Nam Pham with a guillo! Ha!!!! Nam's a cool brotha!
Oh and Jeanilee from Riverside went against a gal from 10p Phoenix for the first and second spot! Have you guys seen these girls???!!! They run shit!
Justin(riverside) - 1st place at heavy blue! It's nuthun'!
had a feeling. take away the points and you'll see who knows how to kill and who knows how to stall.mad pros to all the 10 planet winners.
Great to see so many 10th planet heads putting in work. The movement grows stronger every day ;)
The whole 10th planet represented strong.
Z from Riverside beat Phil from HQ purple 185 or 170.
Damn dude! Idk what else to say. I can't wait to train with you guys. Gotta get a bunch of stuff out of the way first but once it's done, I'm out there asap.
My wife tells me I can't come home if I don't win. I can't risk that so all I do is win win win.Quote:

If you visit Eddie's twitter, he has 2 videos of Denny up. A twister and his match with Nam Phan. Excellent job guys! Love seeing you all do well.
10 p riverside has a young gun, all of 5 years old... Mason... He just submits people to grab medals.
He has some sick text book doubles!!! He's the future!!!
congratz to all! great showing!
can't wait to see more vids. I'm genuinely excited. People always saying, oh why isn't 10th planet more successful if all they do is no gi? It's because 10th planet isn't about getting points, it's about tapping you out. I'm glad we showed that. Props again. This is great news.
That's how we roll! Congrats to everyone who put it all on the mats!
Great job to everyone that came out. The rules worked out great, I only wish there was some sort of sudden death after the initial 15 minutes.. Maybe like a first to 5 points sudden death or a takedown... Something!
Oh well, next time hopefully all the other jiu jitsu schools come out to play!
Wouldn't people then just stall to the 15 minutes mark so that when the sudden death period started they would be in a dominant position?

Did many schools missed the event?
Did the rules system made the fights more interesting to see?
Congratz to all 10th planet playas!!!! mad congratz to 10th planet riverside!!!
It wasn't phoenix, her shirt said Spokane.
My bad John. I heard Phoenix, but I stand corrected.
Is there a link to a result sheet?
Now thats how 10 do :)
2012 is 10ths year...look for more domination to follow :)
Wasn't there some All American BJJ tournament around the same time as this one? I'm seeing pictures all over facebook.
Yeah there was Justin. I think it was pretty much: Do you want to win by submission only, or do you "take the points"? And if you were going for sub only, you may have to go for 15 minutes straight.
Or another way to 'almost' put it is, do you like the Abu Dhabi tournament rules or the IBJJF tourney rules?
Slick and Nam!
