On Ufc primetime, Cesar Gracie said something like he didn't like Greg Jackson's camp?? Is there beef between these two camps or just between Cesar and Greg? This is the most respect Nick has shown in a long time so it took me back when Cesar said he didn't like that camp (and this is war). You guys know anything about this?
It might have something to do with Cesar Gracie's post-Penn fight talk about "uniting to fight the lay n pray fighters who are destroying the sport," or something like that. Greg Jackson seems to get flak for lay n pray/wall n stall strategies, whether he deserves it or not, so maybe the two are linked.
Yeah, I've heard that about Jackson and it's interesting that he has some of the most dynamic/powerful fighters around. In any case it makes for interesting T.V. to see Cesar call out someone like Greg.
Greg Jackson is not really loved in the circuit. I remember Dana White saying something a while ago about Greg not being good for the sport.

I like to see fights finished with the next guy and think GSP fight's not too lose. It's hard to be upset with the guy though, I mean he is the champ and guy need to figure out how to beat him and press him. Obviously, these stats do not tell the whole story. I don't know when these fighters started training under Greg Jackson and what difference that made on their finish/win ratio.
Except George St Pierre, and somewhat of Rashad, I do not know any real boring fighters that fight under Greg Jackson camp. Garcia, Cerone, Condit, Guida, Jon Jones, Stann, Carwin, I mean com on man. In rashad's case it is something new and not very common, in St Pierre's case it is his own doing. I don't think Jackson's camp is making St piere fight boring. Believe it or not fighters choose the way they want to fight not their trainers or camps. Technically Condit and St Pierre are both Jackson fighters with completely different way of winning fights. At the same time, Jake Shields and Nick Diaz also share a camp and maybe more as life long buddies, where Nick has never been in a boring fight and Jake has never been in an exciting one. It is solely based on the fighters ability and current mental status. GSP does not want to lose his championship so he is Tim Sylviaing his way in to decisions using grappling.
Moral of the story, we need Randy Couture to come back from retirement, cut to 170 and beat the shit out of GSP, and then retire again.

Jackson fighters get knock out/submission/fight of the night often. You guys act like GSP is the only Jackson fighter. Condit is a killer. He just couldn't put away Diaz tonight. Guess what?
