The top clip is an excerpt taken from an old mendes bros dvd. I have the no gi section of the dvd which is about 20 min long. It covers about 10 techniques and then shows a grappling match in japan, in which Rafael competed in. As far as the name, no clue. It's in japanese/portuguese.
They need to come out with another set
I know you can hit all of these leg ride rolls with a basic leg hook but it's funny that nobody but Eddie utilizes a lockdown grapevine on most of them.
I actually popped my knee once on a capoera pass to quarter guard to single leg ride roll to back control because I didn't get my knee in deep enough. I was okay but mid roll I felt like I was on the brink of twisting my knee sideways because I wasn't thigh against thigh when I dove for the roll. It scared the hell out of me and now I make sure I'm deep with my leg hook if I want to roll without a grapevine.
Fishnet to failed grapevine to Ninja right there!

Yeah, I read they were going to do an online thing, but I guess they had some issues with it
Agreed, mginaction is the best site around, a mendes one would be hard not to pay for, they have so much to offer
They do.......so much to learn.........so many options...........so many hours of training ahead.
The one very minor gripe I used to have with MGinaction is that there is not much presented that is not part of his game, although they've gotten better at showing defenses to positions Marcelo does not use. If the Gui and Rafael ever get it up it will be awesome. They have so much interesting philosophy and reasoning behind every little movement and most people don't know a lot of it. They have some stuff that they can just say in words then the light goes off and it will change the way you look at grappling forever.
