10th planet Portland and John Salami were up for gym of the year and coach of the year through NorthWest Fight Scene. In the two polls that were posted on FB 10th planet Portland/John Salami killed it in the votes finishing with the most votes by far....so they held the awards ceremony tonight and apparently the votes didnt mean anything. The winners were chosen by NW FightScene!!! Very disappointing!!!!

10th Planet Portland & 10th Planet Eugene are always getting over looked here in Oregon. Is stupid, both gyms killing it in sub tournaments and Northwest Training Center killed it in MMA scene last year as well. Politics are dumb, no love for the little guys who just train train train...
Hey peeps!it ALL good! The night before at FAMMA Fights,two of our White Belts, James Gamet,and James Smith( 5 months experience) went against two Purple Belts in Tag Team Grappling.After 13 minutes it was a draw NO taps!!What a freakin accomplishment!This other school has a pool of 400 members to choose from!!!!!Then,in MMA, Mohammed Abed(10th Planet Vancouver WA) won the title!!!!!NOT worried at all!!In the winners speeches,they were very complimentary of their students,who come to us for punch cards(drop ins),and return,crushing with 10th Planet techniques!!They also said it was an honor to be in the same category,as myself and 10th Planet.Im NOT worried.We are doing the right things!
