I'm a silva fan boy so I don't wanna see this fight. I have a hard time believing he can stop chaels shot or get up. Id love to see silva destory him but I think it'll be the first match all over again. Atleast we get to see the beast in silva shine
I think Silva will do better if he doesn't have a broken rib.
I also think that his rib wasn't as bad as he claimed and that he generally did get shit kicked a bit in that last fight but his ego kicked in and he started to make excuses.

Therefore Chael without elevated test levels will lose a decision or get finished by Silva with broken rib.
Chael without elevated test levels against healthy Silva, Chael will get dominated, finished, broken or any of the above.
Com on, the guy barely took a decision from Michael Bisping in his last fight. He looked worse than he did in his previous fights such as Okami, Silva or Stann, so his stamina and strength is on a decline and his skills are stagnant over the last 2 years.
I really don't see him finishing Silva or keeping him on his back without horse steroids that he gets from Dan Henderson. Oh and yeah those roids are a major contributing factor why Dan Henderson can still compete at a high level. Take them away or upset the hormanal balance a bit and Hendo gets crushed by Shields.

Why do people like to pretend that steroids made Chael an unstoppable hulking manbeast? You see guys on steroids get wrecked all the time in combat sports. There's nothing about steroids that made Anderson's legs buckle when Chael punched him. And you have Rashad Evans claiming 3 broken ribs and he dominates 50-45, but Andy has a little bruise and people act like he was fighting blind with 1 leg amputated.
The rematch will be great because finally, Andy nuthuggers will have to zip it. King Chael will put on a repeat performance but play it safe in the homestretch and all will be right with the world.
I'd just like to see a new champ not necessarily sonnen but just think silva has held it too long, hell he could always move up a weight.

Thing is for me...eh, it kinda takes the legitimacy from an athlete away when they do performance enhancing drugs.
I've heard it been argued that marijuana helps with your performance, but that's a bit like saying taking vitamins helps your performance.
Steroids are hardly vitamins.
MMA just seems to be one of those sports where when someone is one of their favorite fighters, they could punch a baby in the face and they wouldn't give a damn.
What does it take for someone to stop being a fan?(aside from losses people can't argue over?)

I'm cheering for Chael personally, big Silva fan but I've always enjoyed watching Chael fight. His trolling has certainly gotten under a lot of peoples skin but if you watch the interviews where he's being straight up and honest he's quite intelligent and has a healthy respect for everyone but Anderson Silva, and makes positive comments about Brazil (saying the US could learn from Brazilian economics) Not to mention if you watch the interview after the Okami fight he says that he trolls to promote fights and instantly befriended him after that beatdown. Hell he's humble when talking about most of the people he's fighting. Stann, Bisping, and even Nate the Great (saying when they trained Nate constantly took him down)
I also want to point out that Chael, out of probably any MMA fighter out there has been the nicest to the fans. Before the TRT incident his cell phone number was leaked online and instead of changing his number he actually ANSWERED calls from fans and if he missed the number he would literally CALL fans back or send a text. How many fighters do you know would actually do that?
Hell even the jokes he made about BJJ were just trolling, the man was in Black Belt magazine demonstrating omoplatas. If you take Chael for what he is, a good fighter with deadpan humor than it's easy to be a fan.
Don't forget that revisionist history has changed the average perception of the first fight. NOBODY gave Chael a shot but the man was shouting at Anderson Silva to hurry to get in the cage and fight him. In what was to be one of the greatest fights in the history of MMA (when seen from an unbiased eye, especially considering the epic finish and the underdog angle) we saw Chael landing an ungodly amount of strikes, sakuraba slaps, and even a backflip as a defense to a kick catch.
Lets face it, Chael or Anderson hate aside, it was an INCREDIBLE fight, Anderson showed he is the champion with the come from behind triangle but to take away from Chael based on his attitude is one of the silliest things you can do.
And to the Gracie student who seems to believe that TRT prescribed by a doctor to treat hypogonadism (which you acknowledge as a fact by your insults about his balls) I seem to remember Royce Gracie using ANABOLIC steroids. Which is a true steroid unlike TRT.
I'm a fan of both Anderson Silva and Chael, the funny thing is. Both can be considered disrespectful. Anderson has been disrespectful against his opponents inside the cage and Chael has been disrespectful leading up to fights. Wouldn't one argue that disrespecting your opponent in the cage is a wee bit worse than making jokes about feeding carrots to a bus?

I'm the only one with Gracie anything as their school, and I never made a joke about his balls.
And as a huge Sakuraba fan, I was not happy the decision wasn't turned over after it was discovered Royce took steroids.
