I am definitely a huge Ronda Rousey fan. Hadn't heard of her until someone posted a vid on here a while back. Any Ronda-fan hipsters that have been into her since, like, forever ago? :cool: Has she really kinda blown up overnight or have I just come late to the party? I had no idea who she was until just a few months ago! Grr.

From what she's said about being an Olympic athlete, it took up ALL her time, which sounds standard for Olympic athletes. She hit the MMA scene on August 2010 which might just qualify for your definition of "kinda blown up overnight." Pretty quick rise to the top imo.

I became an instant fan when I saw her record.

You gotta be pretty damn good to get off the same move in the first round of sooo many matches, one after another.

People love it when someone has a knockout streak, this is no different.
If not harder to pull off.

Good for her, she deserves it, she goes in there and finishes, takes care of business, even ate a few punches and showed some chin, at least enough to clinch up with, which is all she needs. She's a real ass chick, which is hard to find nowadays, I'm glad she says what she has to say and sets an example for what a fighter should represent. Glad I had the pleasure of rolling with her like a year ago when I didn't know anything about her, I just thought, "damn, this broad is tough" lol. Lo and behold, a star is born, repping that 818 too ;)
