How do you angry rainbow someone who has 70lbs on you?

So I was rolling with this kid today who was easily 220lbs, compared to my 150lbs, and I got lockdown --> whipped up --> dove in for the electric chair but when I went for the angry rainbow to finish it off he leaned into me and it took me a good 2 minutes just to get him over, mostly because i slowly scooted my hips out to assist me, but the angry rainbow itself was a major fail. So is there any sort of leverage or technique to make that easier on a much bigger guy? I couldn't even budge him enough to rock him back and forth a bit, it was pathetic. Thanks for the help!

alright... now explain to me what the hell an angry rainbow is...

angry rainbow is stretching your lockdown and going from one side to the other in an arching motion like a rainbow. youve had to do the electric chair before so you probably know what it is just never refere to it as the angry rainbow

my best guess would be stretch your lock down and use the stiff arm the best you can

Angry rainbow=evil rainbow its the same thing. Stretching your lockdown and leg raisering in a rainbow like motion.

Matt, problem is likely you’re not sweeping based on whether the he is pressuring into you or he's baseing out. You need him to pressure into you for the electric chair (sweep or submission) to be efficient and economical. After the whip up, attempt a old school, when he posts his leg his weight will shift and he will be pressuring into you, now that he's has pressure on you attempt the electric chair.

If the guy has double unders and his lockdown straightened out, I don't see how he can post on his leg and not pressure in. If he's not pressuring in, he likely has his hands on the mat and is open to getting his back taken, right? IDK, I'm pretty new to this.


I'm 230lbs and I got electric chair swept on tuesday by a 140lb'er. Straightened legs played a big role because it totally took away my leg. Gotta keep that lockdown stretched through the whole thing

If he's basing out and has the leg posted and the pressure is off of you, Dog Fight all day ;)

I personally would not seek to ec this guy unless absolutely necessary.
