Sorry to be a retard but I carn't find any techniques, any help would be great.

hello folks,
I was trying to search for certain techniques but it seems that all i can view in the technique section is the 10 videos, which seem to be more for entertainment rather than actual techniques,( although a few techniques are contained in the videos.). I have just joined due to hearing on the Rogan podcast that 10thplanet was free for a few days, but it seems i actually carn't view the techniques in the system, which is very annoying as i was looking forward to seeing the knewer stuff in the system(prison guard etc.). I'm not sure if i'm only allowed to see the ten vids and thats it but any help on my concerns would be great.

There's an index for each episode to the right of the screen.

Just as another question.. Should I have watched the dvds and read the books Eddie's released before watching them?

Definitely couldn't hurt to have some familiarity with the system.

If you hear a term you don't know, hit pause, and type "BJJ" and the word into the youtube search engine. Something useful is bound to pop up.

you can also go to submissions 101, where ari boldan shows many of the 10 planets techniques. he is one of eddies students who originally started posting videos of the system

Hi frank,

I originally started to follow the 10th planet system through submissions 101 about 2 years ago. I bought all of eddie's books, but sometimes it's nice to hear the details that aren't in the books, hence why i like listening to the vids. I didn't realise that sub 101 put eddie's vids back up as i thought they were taken down due to the opening of this sight?

p.s Just watched the video " I know what I saw " due to eddie, I now believe in UFO's, HOLY shit!

Yeah, I've started jiu jitsu about 2 months now, been watching his videos for close to 5 months, I'd classify myself as a major beginner I just don't know some of the positions, cheers though...

We turned over all the technique videos to Eddie over a year ago. There are a couple of videos of Eddie TALKING about jiu jitsu on Sub 101 but I believe Eddie's new format is to put techniques inside the MTS videos rather than have a library of techniques that you can search. I stopped doing 10th Planet online videos over a year ago. Sub 101 features other peeps (Mir, Owen, Magalhaes, Werdum etc)doing both gi and nogi. Of course if Eddie wants to share anything to the 55 000 peeps on sub 101, we are ALWAYS happy to have that platform for him!

I agree that it is nice to have library of techniques to go through so if you need to trouble shoot the half guard, you could go to the half guard section. But I suppose that is what the DVDs and books are for.

I understood that the techniques will be back up after Oct. 1st when payments start back.

That would be money! There was some good shit on the old site that I would love to have access to again.

I hope that Vancouver seminar makes its way back to the site. I bet I watched that thing 15 times.
