Just caught the first episode. Who else was disappointed?
Nope
Im just being an ass. I was just hoping to see some rubber guard (or at least some 10th planet technique) from carlson. but his opponent was a beast
Ya he was a beast he used to be the jitz intructor for the Chute Box Academy, im looking forward to see him fight Justin Lawrence on friday.
Dude he fought is a 4th Degree Black Belt Jared just recieved his Black Belt recently there is no shame in a loss to him he will come back a better and stronger fighter for that
I thought you were referancing the entire show, I was very disappointed with the outcome of Jarreds match.Quote:

I didnt like the hypie sports show feel to the interviews and backstage coverage. Other than that it was cool.
I have watched every season since the show began and I always find it boring. Not sure why I keep watching it... I think the first season was the best because they had challenges that didn't involve fighting. Stuff like carrying the coaches on chairs through beach water, or carrying bottles of water up several flights of stairs. While these challenges didn't involve the skills needed for MMA, they gave great insight into the personalities of the fighters. Without the challenges all the fighters are pretty much the same. Unless there's a guy with green hair in the house, I can't keep track of who is who.
The actual fights tend to be the most boring part of the show for me. Its much more interesting when the guys are fighting in the house or there's some kind of personal drama between the people in the house about eating each other's food or stealing clothes, etc. And of course, when the coaches go at it, like Rashad and Rampage did, or the way Ken Shamrock and Tito Ortiz did, the show is at its best.
So I'll keep watching this newest version of the show...but don't expect me to like it ;)
I'm being completely serious. Call me crazy, but even with the UFC, I only find the fights interesting when I know something about the fighters. When there is a story, the fights are interesting. I'm looking forward to Rashad and Jon Jones for example because there's drama in their personal conflict. By contrast, I can't even remember who Frankie Edgar fought last time...
With the TUF show I find the fights boring because I can't tell the cast members apart from week to week. I only find the show entertaining when conflicts are happening in the house. The fights in the octagon are especially boring to me without commentary. Again, maybe it's just me, but I honestly found the characters on the show more interesting when they competed in challenges each week...
I like watching fights period, I watch HDNet and watch guys I know nothing about fight. I enjoyed the one rounders because they had to fight! I dont enjoy watching them get hammered in the house and destroy the house though.
Dominick Cruz always disappoints me...even when he wins.
Fixed.
Who else remembers that deal with the sushi and the fruit tray?
For those who didn't see that, one of the fighters was pissed off someone was stealing his sushi, so he had someone else jizz on it and put it back in the fridge.
In retaliation to someone stealing a fruit tray, they also pissed in their next one, and all the fighters who stole it ate piss covered fruit.(without even noticing)
Yeah I remember.. It's burnt into my memory, how could I forget? :(
I think this season is great, I really like the fights too. Love the lightweights! Perfect synergy of speed and power! (I think so)
it sucks, i download it skip to the 2 round fight and thats it. TUF heavyweights was the only one i actually watched the entire episode, without a kimbo factor or big name its just not interesting. or the fact that most recent TUF guys arent do so well in the UFC.
