What baffles me is, despite this mini-doc providing proof that Renato is in fact the G in a Gi we've all checked under the mat for before we roll, why wouldn't he endorse this documentary? Is he ashamed of his acting past? Is he afraid that he'll be held against stiff competition from "Dayd of Our Lives", such as Joey Tribbiani and his candid portrayal of Dr. Drake Ramoray?
Yeah, I don't get it either. But yeah, maybe he's afraid Brazilians will not respect him for hiding his accent for American TV. Before Renato turned on me, he told me he spent 8 years with Mel Gibson's accent coach to hide his Brazilian accent and that the kids from the favelas would call him a sell outQuote:
