    NAGA Expert Gold

    It is nothing you haven't seen from me before. Another flying triangle and dead orchard. I always seem to get the same submissions. I have lots of other game that I don't seem to get to play in competition. For the next tourney should I focus on my go to game or should I try to mix it up a bit? When it comes to competing I just wanna grab the first submission I can get. thoughts?

    Do what you are doing until they can stop you. Then start hiting them with your back up plans when they counter you. Let your competition think thats all you have .

    In my mind the greatest grapplers go out and submit their opponents as quickly as possible. As a fan I don't care how they get the sub, I am in awe of how quickly the greats can impose their game. Seeing you quickly hitting flying triangles and Dead Orchards against people who know they are coming brings a smile to my face.

    It is an interesting question though; should you tournament hone other aspects of your game... I'll leave that to the many more experienced grapplers here.

    Everyone has a competition game, if you're beastly enough to execute it every time with precision..why stop? I really enjoy your videos. It's awesome to me as a white belt that someone way more advanced can take a few basic subs, understand/develop & use them so well..I mean, even on a high level you are smiting fools with your comp game, even if it might seem limited. It's a high percentage game you play!
    Be one with yourself and know you can do anything when you are friends with yourself.
