The Gift of Endless Memory

Anyone catch this on 60 minutes?
Only 6 documented cases in the world so far.
These guys remember every moment of their lives in the same amount of detail that we remember yesterday.

I read something about this in the Week magazine about six months ago. Memory is a wonderful gift. I have lots of memories from 2 years old on that I remember like yesterday, but I haven't hit this level yet. Maybe someday.

The problem with a "super" memory, is a the useless info you absorb. I have a pretty amazing memory, but I can't do some of the feats I have seen accomplished. But I retain almost everything and can usually recall any one day in my life and replay it in my mind. But sometimes I don't have instant recall... Guess there may be some short term memory interference...

Actually I'm not sure if this is a gift or a curse.

5 of the 6 people are single, and the other one divorced and remarried.
You could never win an argument with someone that remembers every damn thing you ever said.
And "forgive and forget" won't mean anything to them.

Me thinks a little forgetfullness can be a good thing.

seems like a superhuman talent like this can be very profitable if used right.

sorry I'm not buying it, it's easy to make shit up, about days that can't be verified, and significant memorires can be verified. just like when I scored a goal from 50 yards out on a free kick when I was nine. or the fact that I remember almost every game I've played in or every submisstion I've caught, doesn't mean I have " Endless Memory " but there are certantly " Gifted " people out there, like Autistic kids who rip the piano with Chopan, & Verdi and no lessons.

Did you see the part when they asked them all the same question in a group?
How about the part where they asked them about historical events?
I don't know how they could fake that.
