Your reactions to making your first color belt/shirt in JJ.
Just wanted to see what everyone thoughts were of making your first belt/ shirt advancement.
For me it was relief! I had trained off and on for around 2 years, very inconsistantly because of work obligations. then in Jan was able to make it consistantly all the way through up to blue belt (August) until I had to leave for a school (roughly 2 years and 8 months to make blue!). I was just so happy to see progress! I am very thankful to my instructors and training partners who helped me get there. Most of my training up until then had been from Eddies books and videos. Interested to see what everyone else's experience was.
